The reason I stuck with AMBOSS as a spine throughout this whole thing was mainly because, when I was doing the latest NBMEs, I saw that the concepts being tested in NBMEs were covered well in AMBOSS with a very similar style and frequency (and not on my other Qbanks). Also, the library was a great source of spaced repetition. If I was reading a particular disease or saw it in the clinic, I would just go back to AMBOSS, read the article, and then click the attached link to do just the questions on that. That's exactly what I wanted.
